Some passions are planted early. Growing up in a close-knit community where people poured into one another, I found myself captivated by the art of beauty — watching my second mother, a hairstylist, transform the women around her. By age 8, I was already devoted to caring for my skin, and that devotion never faded.

For years, I sought out the most effective natural, anti-aging ingredients I could find — not just for results, but because I believed what you put on your body matters just as much as what you put in it.

Then came Imani.

When my daughter was in high school, she challenged me to share what I'd been creating. That spark became Butters & Bars — a line of 100% natural, handcrafted body care products born from decades of passion and a mother-daughter partnership rooted in love.
